Use of Space
- The reservation will be available to the client for the event start and end times selected and confirmed at the time of booking.
- No outside food and beverage is permitted at The Cake Bake Shop.
- The Cake Bake Shop does not assume responsibility for any damage or loss of any items left on the premises before, during, or after the event.
Payments
- The client will be charged the full amount to secure the reservation, including tax, service charge & gratuity upon booking the reservation.
- The Cake Bake Shop gift cards, Costco gift cards and Disney Payments are not redeemable for private events.
Service Charge / Gratuity
- The gratuity and service charge is applied to the pre-tax subtotal of the event; including all food and beverage, event minimum fee, florals and any additional items pre ordered during the event consultation.
- Any additional gratuity added by the client is allocated to the Private Event Service Team.
Cancellation
- Events may be canceled at any time; however, all payments are nonrefundable.
- Events may be rescheduled up to 30 days prior to the event date. Please note that while The Cake Bake Shop will make every effort to accommodate your new preferred date, we cannot guarantee its availability.
- Force Majeure — In the event that circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of God, war, government regulations, pandemics, terrorism, natural disasters, or strikes, render performance impossible, no damages will be due. All deposits will be either fully refunded or transferred to a rescheduled date, agreed upon by both parties.
Timeliness
- The Cake Bake Shop will honor the event start and end times agreed upon at the time of booking. A 15-minute grace period will be provided for late arrivals. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time may experience delays in seating and/or adjustments to the planned event experience.
- Please note that parking, rideshare pickup/dropoff, and bus stops for The Cake Bake Shop are located at the main parking lot of Disney’s BoardWalk which is a 15 minute walk from the restaurant.
- Upon the conclusion of the event time as specified in the contract, all billing must be settled, and The Cake Bake Shop expects the client and their guests to vacate the venue within the reserved time frame.
Photography
- The client(s) hereby assign/s The Cake Bake Shop the right to use and publish photographs of the clients and/or the client’s minor children.
- These photos may be used on The Cake Bake Shop’s blog, social media and website or for additional advertising purposes.
- The Cake Bake Shop reserves the right to use photographs taken during the event or alter the same without restriction on published platforms.
- The client releases all claims to profits that may arise from use of images.
Guest Count Guarantee
- The final guest count guarantee is due no later than 14 days prior to the function date. If the guarantee is not confirmed within this time frame, the estimated guest count will become the guarantee.
- The client understands the maximum seating capacity for the contracted space and understands additional guests above this capacity are not guaranteed to be accommodated. The Cake Bake Shop will make every effort to add additional guests upon request. If able to be accommodated the client understands they may experience longer wait times for seating or a modified overall experience.
Menu Selections
- The client must submit their menu selections to their Concierge Event Manager up to 14 days prior to the event date. This includes food, beverages, whole desserts, individual desserts, favors, etc.
- Changes within 14 days will be considered but are not guaranteed. The Concierge Events Team will confirm with the client of any requests able or unable to be accommodated.
- If the event is canceled and pre-orders have been conducted as part of the agreement, the client may pick up any whole product on the day of the original event in conjunction with the cancellation fee.
- Prices are subject to change due to menu development or food shortages.
Consumer Advisory
- Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness; contains (or may contain) raw or undercooked ingredients.
- Kindly note, all of our dishes are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, eggs, dairy, and other allergens. Please inform your server of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, we cannot guarantee that our dishes will be completely free from allergens or cross-contamination.
By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, policies, and event details presented during the reservation process. Payment confirms your reservation and secures your event as outlined.
